This Monday night Restorative class is designed for anyone seeking to relieve stress, work on posture, breath and expansion of range of motion. We believe in rejuvenating the body to it’s most released state through breath and proper alignment. Students will learn how to initiate movement through pranayama (breath work) and the core, which are the foundations of controlled, healthy movement. This class features pranayama techniques, and a gentle flow to warm the body. Students are then guided through a series of comfortable prop-infused postures, which are held for several minutes. This allows for a natural, effortless release of the muscles and their fascial framework. The class then leads into a meditation and restful Savasana to promote resilience and clarity of the body and mind. HeART in Motion provides mats, bricks, blankets and bolsters as well as straps and yoga props and offers a relaxing, welcoming environment for healing the body and mind through Yoga and Meditation.

Bring Your Own Props (BYOP):
  1. Yoga Mat
  2. Pillow or bolster
  3. Blanket or towel
  4. Straps such as a Yoga Strap, Bathrobe Tie, or Scarf (optional)
